"When I first discovered Palm Springs in the intense dry summer heat of 2009, I had never experienced anything like it. From the lovingly preserved 50’s ranch homes to the warm and welcoming culture, I felt as if I were in a secret time capsule. The striking geometric lines and shadows planted in an organic landscape moved me. Once invited inside to photograph Jamie’s pool, I discovered another dimension hidden behind the closed doors and beware of dog signs, full of life and leisure in its purest form, a lifestyle deeply rooted in Americana’s past while embracing the present."
